About The Author

Welcome

It is with great honour that I welcome you to a fresh new look of my website, just in time for the incoming new year.

As I look back and reminisce, I have not expected that my writing journey will bring me this much fulfilment - not only in completing a number of books under my name but even in furthering my creativity, in meeting people all over the world and building friendships. This journey would not have been possible without people like you, who never failed to support me in all of my undertakings.  In this new site, I ask you to join me as we go on another writing adventure.

Thank you for your support, as always.

My Story

It was back in 2004 when I first thought about writing a book. A new idea, worth a try, so off I went to the shop to purchase a new writing pad. It certainly was worth a try…. ‘There’s a good book in all of us,’ or so they say…

The location for my first try would be a deserted Island. It would be a challenge, no places to go, nothing of interest to see. As I started to put this down on paper, the aim was for this island to be the main focus of the story.

As I started writing, new ideas started to unfold and slowly but surely, they were added. In the end, the island became a small part of the book, somewhere in the middle. The final product was very different to the one that I originally had in mind.

Once this first achievement was complete, I was desperate, but at the same time nervous in receiving the views and thoughts of others. When I sat back and thought about it further, I found the process of writing the book enjoyable. So, there I was back to square one. This took me onto reading more and then trying out a local writing course. The more that I became involved, the more I gained interest and wondered if I could put another novel together…. well there was no harm in trying.

I started the second book and could not believe how well the book flowed. I was creating a world of my own, the characters had their own personality created by me. Most of all, this was relaxing me.

After completing my books, I was not getting the much-needed feedback required to make my new venture a success. Despite this setback, I decided that I would like to do some more writing anyway. So, I carried on and the more I wrote, the more I enjoyed the experience of writing.

I felt that I was achieving something and the further I considered this, the more ideas came to mind. Just like that very first day when I came up with the idea.

I am just simply somebody with a story or two to tell. My aim is to write as many books as possible and to keep publishing. This is all in hope that my work is enjoyed by all who choose to read them.
